Micron Optics Inc. of Atlanta and LxSix Photonics of St. Laurent, Québec, Canada, have agreed to collaborate on the development of cost-effective optical sensing technology. Compatibility testing of Micron Optics' optical sensor interrogation instruments with LxSix's fiber Bragg grating-based sensor arrays has led to the launch of LxSix's automated Write-On technology, which enables the company to produce a reel of sensors with varying optical properties using minimal human intervention.
