QuiX Quantum appointed Devin Smith CTO, as co-founder and former CTO Jelmer Renema steps into the role of chief scientist. Smith joined QuiX Quantum in 2021 serving as a senior quantum engineer leading the company’s quantum science team. Gerrard has over 30 years of experience, having served in a variety of roles, from technical marketing director at AXITRON UK Ltd. to engineering lead in startups KUBOS and Optical Reference Systems. Ramachandran joined the company in November 2021 as chief product officer, and he was appointed COO in December 2022. Ramachandran served as executive vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer at Cepton between 2010 and 2021 and as vice president of product management at Velodyne Lidar from 2017 to 2019.
