QUALCOMM Inc. and Eutelsat announced a five-year agreement to bring the EutelTRACS(R) mobile communications system to Europe's fleet managers. EutelTRACS is the European version of QUALCOMM Wireless Business Solutions' mobile communications solution, OmniTRACS(R).
OmniTRACS a satellite-based mobile communications and tracking system that provides real-time messaging and position reporting between fleets and their operations centers. Messages are sent via satellite through Eutelsat's Network Management Center to dispatch centers throughout Europe.
