FREMONT, Calif., Oct. 7 -- Primanex Corp., a provider of solid-state fiber optical switches, announced it has collaborated with the Zhao Jin Group Co, a gold-mining enterprise in China, to form a joint venture company, Primanex China Ltd.
Primanex and Zhao Jin Group will add a scalable production capacity to Primanex's Magneto-Optic technology platform. Primanex is in the process of transferring its optical switch product line to Primanex China.
Primanex China is expected to start shipping products in the first quarter of 2003.
