JENA, Germany — Carl Zeiss Meditec President and CEO Ludwin Monz will step down from the company’s executive board on Dec. 31. Markus Weber will succeed Monz, effective Jan. 1, 2022. Weber is a member of the executive board of Carl Zeiss AG and is responsible for the Zeiss semiconductor manufacturing technology segment. DETROIT — Lidar company Baraja named Joseph Notaro chief commercial officer. Notaro has 25 years of experience in the semiconductor market. He served as vice president of WW Automotive Strategy and Business Development at onsemi. The appointment serves to strengthen Baraja’s move to commercialize its Spectrum-Scan platform for automotive integration. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Industrial metrology equipment producer Brunson Instrument Co. appointed Chris Klope president. Klope has held executive positions in middle market manufacturing and industrial distribution companies. He succeeds Richard Powell, who will continue to serve on the company’s board of directors.
