Jörg Ohler, who has focused his career on high-volume manufacturing, was introduced as the company’s CEO in 2016 after working with ThyssenKrupp Tailored Blanks. Franz, a leader in process monitoring, previously led a business unit for remote laser solutions at Scansonic before joining 4D in 2018. 4D develops, manufactures, and distributes systems for the observation and monitoring of laser processes as part of the quality assurance. With its core technology of photodiode-based process monitoring, it has established a standard for the inline monitoring of laser welding and brazing.
