SAN DIEGO, Oct. 4 -- OMM Inc., provider of MEMS-based optical switching products, announced it has been awarded four US patents for innovations in MEMS photonic switching.
The patents (Nos. 6445841, 6445840, 6449406 and 6453083) cover micro-machined optical switching devices, matrix switches and collimator designs for 2-D MEMS devices.
