OIPT Opens Office in India

ABINGDON, England, Dec. 2, 2013 — To meet increased demand for its products, Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology (OIPT) has opened a direct sales and service office in India.


The Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology India team includes Vipin Kala, sales manager (left), and Gurpal Singh, service, support and installation engineer.


The company has spent several years growing its plasma and ion-beam etching and deposition tools business in India, the company said, and is opening the new office through the Oxford Instruments plc subsidiary, Oxford Instruments India Private Ltd. The subsidiary will cater to its key market segments: industry, research and academia.

"The addition of the Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology business to our Indian operation demonstrates Oxford Instruments’ absolute commitment to growing a long-term sustainable business in India," said Anurag Tandon, managing director of Oxford Instruments India.
