Jeff Nichols, regional sales manager for Pittsfield, Mass.-based Laurin Publishing Co., has been elected as exhibitor representative to the advisory committee of the Optical Society of America's CLEO/QELS (the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics/International Quantum Electronics), the most highly regarded conference in the fields of lasers and electro-optics. Nichols was elected to a four-year term and will be involved in developing future CLEO/QELS exhibitions. He has worked for Laurin Publishing for seven years and lives in Pittsfield with his two sons.
