BOISE, Idaho, Nov, 16 -- Citing the success of its current operations in Singapore, Micron Technology Inc., providers of semiconductor memory solutions, have decided to build a new assembly and test facility there by 2002. The 400,000-sq-ft facility will house package assembly, testing and module assembly. The number of employees hired will depend upon semiconductor industry market conditions, Micron said.
