PLANO, Texas, Nov. 12 -- LaserComm, developer and manufacturer of components and modules for advanced optical networks, said its broadband Hi-Mode dispersion management device (DMD) has passed qualification testing to meet Telcordia telecommunications standards.
The test results confirm the reliability and performance stability of the Hi-Mode DMD, LaserComm said, and validate that dense wavelength division multiplexing system developers and carriers can confidently deploy the Hi-Mode DMD in optical networks to increase capacity and lower costs.
