Lanny Ross Joins Luxtera's Board
Communications industry veteran Lanny Ross has been appointed to the board of directors at Luxtera Inc., a Carlsbad, Calif., developer of CMOS photonics technology. Ross, who joins Luxtera as it prepares to launch commercial single-chip CMOS photonics transceivers, has more than 25 years of experience leading semiconductor companies. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Broadcom Corp., where he continues to serve as a board member. Before joining Broadcom, he was president of Rockwell International's Telecommunications Group. He also held executive positions at National Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor.
