Kenton D. Chow was recently named vice president and chief financial officer at Aurora Networks, a Santa Clara, Calif., provider of optical transport systems. Chow has held executive positions at Azul Systems, Catena Networks, Sun Microsystems, Cobalt Networks, Symantec Corp. and Bay Networks. As Cobalt’s CFO, he provided financial and strategy leadership leading up to its initial public offering and its merger with Sun Microsystems. A certified public accountant, he has an MBA and a BS in finance from Santa Clara University; he is also a member of the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business advisory board.
