Ophthalmic device company Presbia PLC has appointed Jarett Fenton as its chief financial officer. In his new role, Fenton is responsible for all aspects of financial operation including supporting investor relations activities. Fenton has 17 years of financial experience in both the public and private healthcare, technology and manufacturing sectors. He has experience managing financial regulatory compliance and reporting, as well as internal audit and stock exchange requirements. Fenton holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is also a certified public accountant in California, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the California Society of CPAs. Presbia is an ophthalmic device company that has developed a presbyopia-correcting miniature lens for implementation in a corneal pocket.
