Jan Czech, president of JC Consultants, was named to the board of Reflex Photonics, a Mountain View, Calif., developer of high-speed optical connectivity products for semiconductor packaging and data transfer applications. Czech is also director of corporate strategies for Neotelis, a telecommunications consulting firm ; director and chair of the audit, remuneration and corporate governance committee of Odesia Group Inc.; and chairman of the audit committee and former chairman of the board at Computer Research Institute, all in Montreal. He is a senior business advisor at Inno-centre, a Montreal startup consulting center; and a teaching executive at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. Czech has held several senior management positions with Teleglobe Communications Corp., including president of Teleglobe International Inc. Previously, he was an interim CEO at the Québec Scientific Information Network; chief operating officer at Cescom Inc., a VoIP startup; and director and chair of the corporate governance committee at AD OPT Technologies Inc., a Montreal-based work-force management company.
