Ixia Appoints Vice President of Operations
Ixia of Calabasas, Calif., a provider of IP performance test systems for semiconductor manufacturers and the communications industry, announced yesterday that Raymond de Graaf has been appointed vice president of operations. De Graaf, who has about 15 years of operations experience, most recently served as vice president and general manager of Precision Communications. Before that, he held several senior operations positions with electronics manufacturer Flextronics, including director of global operations and reverse logistics operations leader. As director of global integrations for Flextronics, he headed the assessment of potential acquisitions in the photonics industry and oversaw the integration of newly acquired businesses, technology transfers and the establishment of new plants and operations globally. De Graaf holds a global executive MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University; a graduate degree in global business administration from Nijenrode University, the Netherlands; and a BS in logistics engineering and business administration from Polytechnic University, the Netherlands. Ixia also announced that Dave Anderson, who formerly served as senior vice president of worldwide sales and business development operations, has left to pursue other interests.
