Iridex Patents Disposable Laser Eye Treatment Device

Iridex Corp. has received a patent for a disposable delivery device for its laser eye-therapy system.

The company’s MicroPulse Laser Therapy system is used for the treatment of retina conditions and glaucoma.

The new disposable delivery device is planned to be commercially available in the first quarter of 2015.
