Instrument Systems Appoints VP: People in the News: 10/16/24
Instrument Systems, a manufacturer of light measurement solutions, has appointed Daniel Winters as vice president of research and development. Winters has more than 20 years of professional experience in the development of optical measurement technology with previous experience as CEO and CTO of Trioptics USA.

ROLLA, Mo. — Computing materials manufacturer Brewer Science, Inc. has elevated Dan Brewer and Srikanth Kommu to co-CEOs of the company. Terry Brewer, founder and chairman, will continue to be involved in the company and will serve in an advisory role to Brewer and Kommu.

ALTENA, Germany — IPF Electronic, a developer of sensor technology, has added Alexander Kemler as sales manager Germany. Kemler succeeds Detlev Rössel who has been with the company for 35 years. Kemler most recently worked in sales positions at Universal Robots and NEURA Robotics with previous experience at OMRON and di-soric.

WINTERTHUR, Germany — Dynamic measurement technology company Kistler has transitioned Marc Schaad from his current role as CTO to the company’s CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2025. He will be taking over for Rolf Sonderegger, the majority owner and CEO of the company for 22 years. Schaad has been responsible for R&D and heading a business unit during his tenure at the company. Sonderegger will take over as chairman of the board of directors in spring of 2027, following a two-year sabbatical, succeeding Valentin Vogt.
