Hubertus Dornieden Named Director at Linos Photonics

linosbrief.jpgLinos AG of Goettingen, Germany, has appointed Hubertus Dornieden as a director of Linos Photonics GmbH & Co. KG (LPKG), effective Aug. 22. Dornieden has been with Linos since 2001 and has led corporate development, investor relations and group controlling functions. Linos Photonics GmbH & Co. KG now has three directors. Volker Brockmeyer, CEO of Linos AG, is responsible for operations, logistics and the supply net as managing director of LPKG. Mario Ledig is in charge of sales and marketing and research and development. Dornieden will take on Brockmeyer's assignments in the commercial field and will eventually be in charge of the financial accounting, controlling, EDP, human resources and general administration departments. In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue as a senior executive of Linos AG. Linos makes optical systems in the laser, optical metrology, medicine, biotechnology and semiconductor markets.
