BILLERICA, Mass., Dec. 22 -- GSI Lumonics Inc. has received an order for multiple WaferTrim M310 systems from a US-based integrated circuit manufacturer. The total value of this order is approximately $7 million. The systems will be delivered in the first quarter of 2004.
Laser trim is used in the production of precision linear and mixed signal devices with increased functionality on smaller geometry die. It assists in the process to produce multiple devices from the same die.
