Plexus Corp., a provider of product development, design, manufacturing and testing services to the electronics industry, announced the completion of an OC-192 reference design. Plexus' OC-192 reference design is unique in that it supports OC-192, OC-48, OC-12, OC-3 and DS-3 bandwidths on a single, configurable card. Plexus will unveil the reference design at the Supercomm show in Atlanta, Georgia, June 5-7.
    Excelerate Technologies announced three additions to its managerial team. Joe Hovendon, a veteran in the semiconductor industry, was hired as the company's national sales manager. Ray Malone, who has more than 23 years of experience in software design, was hired as product support manager, and Tom Boardman was hired as the company's marketing manager. Boardman has more than 10 years of semiconductor experience in emerging markets.
