Optical components and subsystems developer Bookham Inc., of San Jose, Calif., announced it has completed its change of domicile to the US (See "Bookham to Reincorporate in US," June 24). The company's common stock began trading Friday on NASDAQ as "BKHM." Its new Web site is at www.bookham.com . . . Nancy L. Compton was appointed vice president of human resources and Javier Rodriguez as vice president of European direct sales and marketing at Candela Corp., a Wayland, Mass., developer of surgical and cosmetic laser technology. . . . Luxell Technologies Inc., a Toronto maker of flat panel displays, and Cambridge Display Technology (CDT) of Cambridge, England, announced they have completed a collaboration to improve manufacturing methods and develop specifications for marketing Luxell's Black Layer contrast enhancement process with CDT's polymer light-emitting diode (PLED) technology. They said they will work toward a "future business and technical cooperation in the PLED area" but will remain independent companies.
