Barry Hotchkies has resigned as executive vice president and CFO of Applied Imaging Corp. The company said he is leaving the company to pursue other interests, and that Corporate Controller Virginia Garcia will be appointed to the interim position of principal accounting officer while it conducts a search for a permanent CFO. Applied Imaging, based in San Jose, Calif., is a supplier of automated imaging systems used in genetics and pathology laboratories for the analysis of chromosomes in cancer and prenatal disorders. . . .
