GSI Lumonics Inc., announced it has received an order for MicroE precision positioning systems from a southeast-Asia-based, hard disk drive manufacturer. The order, valued at $1.6 million, will be shipped in the third and fourth quarters of 2004. GSI Lumonics, a supplier of precision motion control components, lasers and laser-based advanced manufacturing systems, acquired MicroE technology when it bought MicroE Systems Corp., of Natick, in May.    . . .    Microvision Inc., a Bothell, Wash., developer of high-resolution displays and imaging systems, announced today that its Nomad expert technician system is in use at Classic Chevrolet dealership in Grapevine, Texas. The Nomad is a wearable, wireless computer with a head-worn, head-up display that gives automotive technicians and service advisors hands-free access to online vehicle history and repair information while they work on vehicles or consult with customers.
