Eastman Kodak Co. said it has realigned its organic light-emitting diode (OLED) products business into two units: Display Materials and OLED Modules, in response to OLED market growth. Dona Flamme, general manager and vice president of Kodak's Display and Components Group, will lead Display Materials (including OLED materials and optical display films); and Andrew Sculley, general manager and vice president, Display and Components Group, will lead OLED Modules. Kodak is introducing new high-performance materials for the manufacture of OLED displays and demonstrating active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AM OLED) display panels in new sizes and formats at the 2004 Society for Information Display conference, being held this week in Seattle.    . . .    Ircon Inc., a Niles, Ill., manufacturer of noncontact temperature measurement products, has added to its global sales force. Patrick Tang, the new regional sales manager in southern China, is based in Ircon's Guangzhou office and will be responsible for the southern provinces from Fujian to Yunnan. New representatives in Canada are Provan Control Associates, which will represent Ircon in Quebec and the eastern counties of Ontario, and ACI Instrumentation, covering Ontario.    . . .    More than 200 dental professionals attended the first Asian World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI) regional symposium, sponsored by Biolase Technology Inc., last week in Phuket, Thailand. Biolase, a San Clemente, Calif., maker of dental lasers, said it launced the WCLI organization to promote its Waterlase and LaserSmile systems.
