Goleta, Calif.-based Indigo Systems, a developer of advanced infrared cameras and components, raised nearly $90,000 in its fifth annual Celebration of Giving to benefit local, regional and national nonprofit groups. At a recent afternoon reception, 45 area charities received contributions from Indigo Systems' employees, who participate in the year-long fund-raising program. The employees' gifts are matched by the company, which makes an additional donation to the United Way. Paul Didier, Director of the Santa Barbara chapter of United Way, accepted a check this year for $40,117. More than $247,000 has been raised since the program began.   . . .   OptiLED Inc., an Irvine, Calif., manufacturer and designer of high-precision LED lamps, announced that Bruce Pelton has joined the company as vice president of sales to assist in product development efforts and to oversee sales and customer service in the US, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Pelton, who holds 13 US and Canadian patents in the lighting field with several pending, serves on the California Energy Commission Appliance Efficiency Task Force and was formerly general manager of Access Lighting, also in Irvine.
