Ultratech Inc., a San Jose, Calif., supplier of photolithography systems used to manufacture semiconductors and nanotechnology devices, announced it has received a multiple-system order for 200-mm bump tools from a Tokyo-based merchant gold-bump foundry, which will use the steppers to perform gold-bump processing on display driver integrated circuits used in flat panel display applications.
