American Honda Motor Co. introduced Microvision Inc.'s Nomad augmented vision system to American Honda and Acura dealers at dealer shows held recently in California. The head-worn display allows repair technicians to see overlays of automobile diagnostics and repair instructions as they work. Microvision said that based on the enthusiastic response, it plans to launch the Nomad systems, unveiled to dealers under the Honda name "i-Tech Expert Technician System," early next year.
