EPIGRESS AB, a member of the AIXTRON Group, has sold a second SiC CVD system to Sterling Semiconductor in Tampa, Fla. Sterling previously bought the EPIGRESS VP2000 SiC planetary reactor for SiC large-scale production applications. With its second order, Sterling will employ the EPIGRESS VP508 GFR hot-wall SiC CVD system, the newest in the VP508 series, to expand its capacity for research and development and preproduction qualification.
Quantum Bridge Communications Inc. has aligned with five leading developers of storage area networking solutions to help eliminate cost barriers to mass market rollout of managed storage services. The vendors are Emulex, McDATA, QLogic and SAN Valley Systems.
