ST Assembly Test Services Ltd. (STATS), an independent semiconductor test and advanced packaging service provider, has appointed Richard J. Agnich as a nonexecutive director to its board of directors. A 27-year semiconductor industry veteran, Agnich joined Texas Instruments in 1973, where he was vice president and general counsel in 1982 and senior vice president, secretary and general counsel from 1988 to 2000.
