SAN DIEGO, Jan. 14 -- Sorrento Networks Corp., supplier of end-to-end, intelligent optical networking solutions, announced that broadband cable operator Cox Communications Inc. is deploying Sorrento's metro and regional optical networking equipment as part of an extensive program to construct its own nationwide high-speed optical network.
