PHILADELPHIA, August 28 -- Cogent Communications has signed a multimillion-dollar agreement to lease dark fiber strands on City Signal Communications' (CSC) Philadelphia network.
CSC will lease fiber to Cogent providing On-Net access to key buildings in the Philadelphia central business district.

"Philadelphia has historically been one of our toughest markets to connect buildings and customers with the service they have requested. We expect CSC's metro dark fiber solutions to expedite this process and get the Philadelphia central business district the affordable high bandwidth connectivity they need."
