Biocitech, a life science technology park in Paris, announced it now has an 80 percent occupancy rate with two new rental agreements from Roowin, a maker of specialty chemicals, and Cellectis, a rational genome engineering company. Roowin was Biociteh's first tenant five years ago, when it employed only a handful of people. It will soon have a workforce of 40 and has increased its premises to 2000 sq ms. Cellectis has signed a new lease increasing its lab and office space to 2500 sq ms. Biocitech offers facilities and a variety of technical and scientific services for the development of biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and fine-chemical companies. About 20 minutes from the city and from Charles de Gaulle airport, it also has a role in the Medicen Paris Region network, a cluster of companies in the Ile-de-France region around Paris developing advanced technologies in health care. A wide variety of companies, many of which are collaborating, are established there. For more information, visit: www.biocitech.com
