Machine learning technology developer Big Squid Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with QlikTech International AB, a data analytics platform provider focused on data transformation, to add predictive models to current analytics processes. “We are excited to bring the power of predictive machine learning and AI [artificial intelligence] to the Qlik customer base,” said Mark Dillon, senior vice president of strategy and alliances for Big Squid. “By leveraging the Kraken platform, Qlik customers will be able to help drive more strategic decisions based on their internal and external data for market impact.” The partnership combines the machine learning and AI in Big Squid’s Kraken self-service machine learning platform with Qlik Sense. Together, these technologies will create a more strategic dialogue, from data to market initiatives. Kraken is a machine learning platform that automates the process of selecting the right family of algorithms and scores the various models produced with data, all within the existing data and analytics tech stack. Qlik customers will now be able to extend their data insights into future trends. “We look forward to the benefit customers will derive through the upcoming integration with Big Squid’s Kraken to add deeper intelligence to their analytics insights,” said Drew Clarke, senior vice president of strategy management at Qlik.
