CHARLOTTE, NC, Dec. 29 -- The BFGoodrich Co., a supplier of aerospace and industrial products, has finalized its previously announced acquisition of the electro-optical systems unit of Raytheon Co. The companies first announced the acquisition on November 15. Raytheon's electro-optical systems unit develops and manufactures products and technologies used in space transport and payload applications, including laser warning systems and visual surveillance systems for day and night use. The acquisition puts BFGoodrich in the position to become a leading supplier of satellite attitude determination and on-orbit control systems (ADOCS), the company said.
