VALENCIA, Calif., Dec. 11 -- 3D Systems Corp. and Spectra-Physics Lasers Inc. have agreed to jointly develop and manufacture diode-pumped solid state laser systems for solid imaging applications.
The agreement provides an opportunity for significant advancements in the integration of the Spectra-Physics technology into the total imaging system utilized by 3D Systems' machines. The companies expect to accelerate the introduction of new lasers and the optimization of current products to further enhance performance.
