HAWTHORNE, Calif., Dec. 3 -- OSI Systems Inc. said its subsidiary RapiTec Inc. has been awarded an additional $2.38 million above a recently announced $11 million subcontract for the production of multiple integrated laser engagement system components (MILES) for the Apache Helicopter (AH-64D) longbow tactical engagement simulation system.
This increased award has been granted to RapiTec to produce more MILES components. Delivery terms are consistent with the prior contract, with shipments beginning by June 30, 2002 and lasting through June 30, 2003.
