About This Webinar
Glover discusses how 3D imaging technology and motion planning software enable autonomous picking, placing, stacking, and destacking of totes, bins, and boxes in warehouses. He highlights the current applications being implemented and looks at emerging trends for the future use of the 3D vision-driven robots used on autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

About the presenter:
Jared Glover is CEO and co-founder of CapSen Robotics, a developer of spatial intelligence software for robots. Glover received a doctorate in computer science in 2014 from MIT, where he developed and applied new theoretical tools for processing 3D orientation information to applications in computer vision and robot manipulation. Prior to that, he received a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University, where he led a team that developed robotic walkers. Glover has 20 years of research experience in robotics and computer vision and over 500 paper citations. He is also a board member of Catalyst Connection, a private nonprofit that provides consulting and training services to small manufacturers in southwestern Pennsylvania.
