About This Webinar
Over the past few years the capabilities of smart cameras have increased dramatically. Available image resolution has increased from 5 megapixels maximum to 21 megapixels. Processing power has quadrupled to begin to close the gap with PCs. The range of applications continues to expand as more sophisticated and easy-to-use image processing functions are incorporated into the smart camera’s software. This webinar explores the characteristics of smart cameras, how they have advanced, typical applications, and a couple of areas where the product offerings may not meet expectations. This webinar is sponsored by
Teledyne DALSA, an international leader in high-performance digital imaging and semiconductors.
What you will learn from this webinar:
- What a smart camera is and how it differs from other general purpose machine vision systems
- How smart cameras reduce the cost of a machine vision application
- The different ways to program smart cameras
- Five examples of how smart cameras are solving unique machine vision requirements
Who should attend:
Engineering and technical professionals who want to learn more about smart cameras and their use for different industrial applications. Also, technical professionals who are involved in developing and/or implementing smart camera and/or machine vision solutions.
