About This Webinar
Today’s emerging quantum technology applications are complex compared to those used in conventional laser end markets. Quantum technology often demands a short time to market and requires laser suppliers to commit their full focus to an application in order to develop advanced and complete laser system solutions.

Kock discusses some of the key requirements and building blocks that laser solutions targeting quantum applications must deliver. These building blocks include reliable, high-performance tunable laser systems that address all required atomic and ionic transitions, as well as highly robust frequency reference systems to ensure maximum overall system stability. Highly modular laser platform designs are also critical to enable flexible but effective solutions for a broad range of quantum applications. Ideally, such laser systems are based on uniform hardware and software interfaces to further maximize operational simplicity.
