About This Webinar
Learn how to best utilize machine vision software to integrate and optimize a machine vision solution across a variety of industries — including pharmaceuticals, packaging, electronics and manufacturing.
Presenter Tom Brennan will cover the various machine vision software approaches and algorithms including:
Image Representation and Color Spaces
Image Processing
Parallel Programming
Artificial Intelligence
Brennan will walk attendees through how these algorithms and methods enable new technologies such as vision guided robotics (VGR), high-speed imaging, thermal/IR imaging and 3D imaging. Attendees can expect to gain familiarity with many algorithms that underpin machine vision software packages.
Brennan is an AIA Advanced Level Certified Vision Professional and is founder and senior engineer of Artemis Vision, a machine vision software and integration company headquartered in Denver, Colo. He has successfully delivered medical imaging devices, constructed pharmacological verification systems, and designed the machine vision vehicle detection algorithms implemented as part of the DARPA Urban Challenge for American autonomous vehicles. Brennan, who has a computer software background with specific experience in image and video processing, is a graduate of Princeton University with a BSE in Computer Science.
