About This Webinar
Microscope objectives are critical for high-magnification machine vision applications. The numerical aperture (NA) of an objective, or any imaging lens assembly, is one of the most important parameters to consider. However, NA is widely misunderstood. This presentation from Nick Sischka, director of imaging product development at Edmund Optics, covers how NA differs from image space to object space, how it relates to resolution and has different meanings in different application contexts, and how NA is applied within the context of real imaging systems.

*** This presentation premiered during the 2024 Vision Spectra Conference. For more information on Photonics Media conferences and summits, visit events.photonics.com
