About This Webinar
Although commonly overlooked, a lens is the first component in the composition of a vision system. Using a low-quality lens will result in poor image quality, even if the lens is paired with hardware that is top of the line. Therefore, it is important to choose the right optics to maximize overall system performance. Andrew Kam discusses key optical features to consider when selecting a machine vision lens for your application. He also presents a brief overview of advancements in custom optical design, with a focus on weather-proofing and improving ruggedization.
