About This Webinar
Imaging lenses are nuanced and seemingly complex components of machine vision systems. The best options for an application are not always obvious, and key trade-offs should be considered when balancing lens types and specifications. Nicholas Sischka discusses how to properly choose an imaging lens, how various lens specifications translate to real-world performance, and how to interpret the information commonly found on lens specification sheets. He demystifies the lens selection process by addressing common lens types and how to properly pair imaging optics with different sensors to get the desired performance out of a machine vision system.
