About This Webinar
Because hyperspectral imagers divide the signal into many spectral bands, the instrument can be light-starved and therefore provide noisy data, which in turn leads to poor object classification. A high-level view will be used to examine this problem and explore approaches to enhance the signal. One of the most common approaches increases the signal at the expense of imaging performance. A new design is presented that maintains high optical throughput with minimal image degradation.
