About This Webinar
Using real-world images, this session will highlight the differences between visible spectrum and infrared cameras, showing how infrared imaging can enhance machine vision systems. Additionally, the difference between calibrated and uncalibrated infrared imaging, including when to prioritize calibration for precise temperature measurements, is explained throughout the presentation.
Typically, calibrated infrared is considered when it comes to actual temperature measurement, but under certain conditions, the capabilities of a machine vision system can be greatly improved simply by working in a different part of the spectrum, whether temperature is important or not. This session is designed to be accessible, even without prior experience in infrared imaging.
