About the presenter
Sebastian Sauppe, Ph.D., has worked as product manager at Basler since 2022, focusing on 3D product systems. In his position, he is responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to market launch, ensuring the delivery of advanced camera models. Sauppe holds a master’s degree in communication and information technology, complemented by a doctorate in medical image processing from the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ).
Prior to his tenure at Basler, he worked as a product and project manager at a leading vision system integrator for four years. His background equips him with extensive market knowledge and hands-on experience in industrial image processing, enabling him to make significant contributions to the field.
