About This Webinar
Startups often can’t find the funding or the right resources to bring emerging technologies to market. This webinar will take an in-depth look at how the Luminate Accelerator is addressing these challenges through its integrated network that provides connections to investors, focused mentorship and education, and access to the global optics, photonics, and imaging (OPI) ecosystem to speed the commercialization of new technologies. Luminate is the world’s only accelerator focused on OPI-enabled applications.

If you’re an OPI startup — from early stage to Series A funding — or a scientist or engineer who has a technology that’s moving from lab to market, Luminate might be perfect for you.

Attendees will learn how:
  • Focused accelerators can bridge the technical, engineering, and support service gaps that often exist in moving emerging technologies into market, and in launching an OPI business.
  • Structured curriculum and a reciprocal peer learning environment can help transfer knowledge into action.
  • Cohort companies have used the accelerator model to scale their businesses.
  • To assess whether participation is right for your company.
Who should attend:
Founders of startups with optics-, photonics-, and imaging-enabled applications; scientists or engineers who are interested in learning more about technology acceleration and programs that are available; product development teams that are looking at emerging technologies in biophotonics, virtual and augmented reality, transportation, security, machine vision, and other areas.

Target criteria:
  • Company can be from anywhere in the world.
  • Company must be incorporated.
  • Must have an optics, photonics, and imaging-enabled technology or application.
  • Fewer than 10 employees.
  • Titles: founder, entrepreneur, CEO, chief technology officer.
  • Company founding date of 2012 to 2019.
