The latest version of the Sapera™ Vision Software Suite from Teledyne Dalsa includes Astrocyte™ 1.50, its AI training graphical tool, and Sapera Processing 9.50, its image processing and AI libraries. The software suite provides field-proven image acquisition, control, image processing, and artificial intelligence functions to design, develop, and deploy high-performance machine vision applications such as surface inspection on metal plates, location and identification of hardware parts, plastic sorting, and PCB inspection. Among returning features, the updated suite includes rotated object detection, a segmentation algorithm, a speed improvement via NVIDIA RTX 4000 series, and a series of AI sample applications among others.
