Baumer Ltd.’s GigE camera series now includes 10 VisiLine IP-protected models for very demanding industrial environments. With IP 65 and IP 67 protective housings, every component, including the lens, is protected from dust, water spray and temporary immersion.

The cameras have an X-coded M12 connector and can be powered by a 12- to 24-V or Power over Ethernet (PoE) supply. They offer either CCD or CMOS sensors and are available in 1.3-, 2- and 4-MP and VGA resolutions.

The instruments achieve up to 160 fps. Production-integrated color comparison ensures identical color reproduction by every camera in a model series, simplifying applications with multiple cameras operating simultaneously. They offer fixed pattern noise (FPN) correction and high dynamic range (HDR). This eliminates sensor-related structural irregularities and enables acquisition of images with wide differences in scene brightness.
